We deal in various brands of Erythropoetins/Darbapoetin.

Erythropoietin (EPO) is a hormone produced primarily by the kidneys, with small amounts made by the liver. EPO plays a key role in the production of red blood cells (RBCs), which carry oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body.

Anaemia (low red blood cells) is a common complication of kidney failure. Anaemia causes some of the tiredness and problems associated with kidney failure. Manufactured erythropoietin (a hormone that increases red blood cell production) improves this, and is used by people on dialysis (treatment from an artificial kidney machine).

Darbepoetin alfa is a re-engineered form of erythropoietin containing 5 amino acid changes resulting in the creation of 2 new sites for N-linked carbohydrate addition. It has a 3-fold longer serum half-life compared to epoetin alpha and epoetin beta.

We take utmost care with storage and dispensing, with our inhouse cold chain and necessary precautions taken while storage and dispensing at the desired temperature of 2 deg C to 8 deg C. Because, the efficacy of product is invariably affected if not stored at the desired temperature.
